Vintage hand-sculpted Mollica 1842 Italian ceramic basket featuring lemons 10.5” x 12”

Showstopper alert! This basket is so gorgeous with the bright yellow lemons and green leaves by Giovanni Mollica, established in Naples, Italy in 1842. Artisans at the Mollica factory specialized in lifelike floral and fruit motifs, meticulously modeling and painting each piece by hand from 1842 through the 1970s. They embodied superior craftsmanship that continues the legendary Capodimonte tradition of detailed, hand-sculpted ornamentation. This is a substantial basket, 10” tall and 12” wide. How gorgeous it would be on any table or display. Excellent vintage condition with original labels in place.
