Vintage Fostoria PAIR of clear glass “Plume” two-light candlestick holders

These gorgeous candlesticks were designed by Fostoria Glass in Moundsville, WV starting in the late 19th century. In the early 1930’s the company hired designer George Sakier to create modern glassware. He brought clean lines and sculptural forms to traditional glassware manufacturing, combining smooth transparent surfaces with moulded geometric or organic details. The details on this pair of candle holders are spectacular! Resembling flames themselves, these will add elegant sophistication to any table. Measuring 10” x 10” each, they are in excellent condition- no chips, cracks or repairs. The holidays are coming…how special these would be as the highlight of your centerpiece!
