Vintage fluted glass and open work brass tulip vase 10”

Lovely blown glass insert held in a delicately cast brass holder. These were very popular in the early 20th century designed to hold a single cut flower on dining tables and sideboards without blocking the views across the room. So elegant and classy. The blown glass inset has little “nips” around the border that add interest, the brass holder has a floral motif. 10” tall x 4” across the top, it is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. Sophistication and art deco charm.
