Pair of vintage Anton Pieck matted and framed prints 15” x 13”

Beautiful set of vintage historic Paris etching prints signed by renowned French artist Victor Valery Lochelongue (1870-1930), who was active in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s and known for his copper etchings. He studied under etcher Eugene Carrot and exhibited his etchings at the Salon des Artistes Francis’ from 1906. His early career produced etchings that were monochromatic, his later work like these prints have a more expansive palette. These are lovely etching prints of scenes in Paris pencil signed by Victor Valery, which is how he signed his name once he began using a broader pallette. Based upon my research, these would date from 1910-1920. They both measure approximately. 15” x 13” and are in excellent vintage condition, signature clear in lower right hand corner. Really special pictures by a well-known artist.
