Vintage Federal Glass blue/purple carnival glass thumbprint vase 8.25 x 6.25”

The Federal Glass Co. manufactured glassware in Columbus, Ohio, starting in 1900. Their distinctive iridescent pieces were made by spraying metallic salts onto hot glass to create a shimmering rainbow finish reminiscent of earlier art glass. This lovely vase is their Yorktown thumbprint pattern, from the 1960’s. Excellent condition- no chips, cracks or repairs. 8.25” tall and 6.25” wide at the top. Beautiful!
