Vintage Klickitat Pottery wheel-thrown, multi-color slip decoration vase 6” x 3”

Love these colors! Beautiful piece of art pottery very clearly marked as Klickitat, which represents a distinctive regional tradition associated with highly skilled artisans in the Pacific Northwest. The technique of layers in colored slips over a speckled clay body required precise control of moisture and firing to achieve the vibrant, banded patterns. Stands 6” tall and 3” wide- excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. Lovely!
