Lovely example of Chinese porcelain featuring traditional figures amidst clouds, bridges and reference to enduring romantic legend of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, whose annual reunion on the 7th day of the 7th lunar month is celebrated during the Qixi Festival. Excellent condition- no chips, cracks or repairs. Vivid blue borders and classic shades of pinks, greens and red along with the Chinese writing assure its authenticity.
