Vintage celadon-glazed ceramic vase with scroll handles 7.5” x 6”

This spectacular vase has concentric detailing along with the lovely celadon green glaze. The talented potter combined smooth, lustrous glaze with exposed biscuit-fired clay elements to create a wonderful visual and textural contrast. The stylized handles and geometric ribbing draws inspiration from ancient archaic bronze vessels reimagined in ceramic form. Stamp marked NS near the handle. Such an interesting and eye-catching piece of pottery! Excellent condition- no chips, cracks or repairs. 7.5” x 6”
